City Clerk
The Office of the City Clerk is responsible for legislative proceedings, elections, records management, and public records including agenda and minutes.
The Office of the City Clerk is committed to quality customer service, maintaining public records and upholding democratic principles through:
- Ensuring the legislative process, including City elections, City Council and commission meetings, are open and public
- Providing access to complete and accurate public information
- Working together to ensure the City Council, City Manager and City staff serve the community with openness and integrity
Pursuant to the election code and state law, the City Clerk is the Elections Officer. The count of the voting for the March 3, 2009, elections were overseen and certified by Martin & Chapman Company, an independent, unbiased, third party consultant. The election ran smoothly and there has been no evidence of voter fraud nor has there
been a formal complaint of fraud or a challenge to the election results.
The City of Cudahy City Council meets the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., at the City Council Chamber, at Cudahy Park, unless otherwise noted.
The City of Cudahy Municipal and Zoning Codes are the codified version of all ordinances adopted by the Cudahy City Council and/or the voters of City of Cudahy.
It is the legal code of the City.
